Hello, another question.

In NeHe Tutorials (number 10) the camera is setted rotating and translating in opposite direction of desired move for simulating the camera move. But the Red Book, also explains that gluLookAt can be used. What method is better? What method is more portable/safe? And, what method do you use?

Thanks

Ok, i answer my self. gluLookAt can be used for some camera movements, X, Y and Z translations or translation + rotation, but don't work or do it wrongly if there are rotations with little translations. The case is that i can't use it in my final project and i can learn more if use the "standard way".

Both methods are okay and fully portable. Things are only depending on your needs. Many use LookAt as they say being easier in use. I don't understand why - the other way round isn't any more complicated.
