Why do most 3d applications (blender, 3dmax, maya) use grey as their default background color? Can someone explain it to me?? Thank U. |

I think grey is the most usefull color for these kind of programs. White is to bright. Black is to dark. And other colors like (red, green or blue) are to colorfull. So grey is the color in the middle of these colors. It's my opinion. |

Most scene are colorfull, gay is always where RGB value is equal. So this color should mostly does not hit scene color. I guess so ![]() |

I never thought about it that way. ![]() If I whant to detect artefacts or something I use eye slighting colors like cyan. They look so terrible, that you can find Artefacts really easy. ![]() |
