Soon I'll need a good examples like "TWO TOWERS" in nehe.gamedev.net but they are only in C++ and most of the people tell me to get C++ and study it... !?! What to do?? |

It absolutly doesn't matter if you learn Delphi or C++.The important thing is that you know the basics of programming (and basics of 3D for OpenGL).If you know these,then you can port your knowledge to every language and you only need to use another syntax. I personally know multiple languages which is the best way to go.So take a look at C++ and Delphi and decide for yourself.And note that everything that can be done can also be done in delphi and most of the times it's easier and results in better readable code. |

And the best of it all: Even if all people say, Delphi and C are more similar than many guys would really imagine. In fact, if you write a "begin" or use one char "{" really doesnt't matter that much. And if you are good in one of these languages you easily can learn the other also. Personally I think I never wrote a C++-programm yet, but I am able to read the code and convert it into my language. So... take the language you personally like more, never choose "mainstream" ![]() |
